Statement of Faith

  • 1) The Holy Bible was inspired by God, and it is a valid Law and free from error. (2Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, 1Peter 2:2)

  • 2) There is one true God, who exist as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22)

  • 3) Lord Jesus, the son of God, born of a virgin, died, buried and on the third day He rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven and sitting on the right hand of the Father; He wo; come again to rule the earth. (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35, 1Corinthian 15:3, Acts 1:9-11)

  • 4) Humans is fallen from its first place, now sinners and is physically and spiritually under eternal punishment and death. (Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12-19)

  • 5) The salvation of humans is only through repentance and faith in Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8)

  • 6) Baptism of Holy Spirit which its will be given to all believers. (Acts 2:38-39, Acts 5:32, Galatians 3:5&14)

  • 7) To reach out to heaven and to be in God’s presence, holiness is necessary; Therefore, believers should separate themselves form impurities of the world and be in full obedience to God. (Romans 12:1-2, Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, 1Peter 1:15)

  • 8) The Church (The universal church) is the body of Christ and God is dwelling within the Church through the Spirit. Every believer who is born of the Spirit is part of the Church, but it is necessary to become member of a Local church as well. (Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 10:25, Hebrews 12:23)

  • 9) Based on 1Corinthian 12, Romans 12 and Ephesian 4, Holy Spirit gives gifts to the church. These gifts are receivable and necessary for building the body of Christ (the church) and fulfilling God’s will in all ages.

  • 10) God has given two important missions to the church:

    A) Sharing the good news to the whole world.

    B) Building the church which is the body of Christ (Mark 16:15-20, Ephesians 4:11&13)

  • 11) God’s healing is an essential part of the gospel and is provided through atonement. (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:14-16, 1Peter 2:24)

  • 12) The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church. (1Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

  • 13) After thousand years of ruling of Christ, all the wicked dead will be raised and will face judgment of God. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. (Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:8)

  • 14) We, according to His promise, look for new heaven and a new earth. (2Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:22)

  • 15) The ordinances of the church:

    A) Baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19), all who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. (Romans 6:3-5, Colossians 2:12)

    B) The Lord’s Supper is conducted regularly as per Lord’s command. (Luke 22:19-20, 1Corinthians 11:23-26)
